Sir Andrew Motion to chair 2010 Booker Prize

The former Poet Laureate Sir Andrew Motion has been chosen to chair the judges at next year's Man Booker Prize for Fiction.


Motion stepped down as Poet Laureate in April this year after 10 years in the role and received a knighthood for his services to literature in October.


The 2010 Man Booker longlist will be announced in July 2010 and will be made up of 12/13 books, followed by the shortlist in early September. The winner of the prestigious award will be announced at a London Ceremony on 12th October.
