Longlist for the Man Booker Prize for Fiction announced tomorrow

The Man Booker Prize Longlist is set to be revealed tomorrow, Tuesday 27th July 2010, with over a hundred full-length novels written by authors from the Commonwealth, Ireland or Zimbabwe and published between 1st October 2009 and 30th September 2010 considered for the award.
Approximately twelve books will make the longlist, with authors who have previously won the award or had a title shortlisted in the last five year's automatically considered. The following six authors who've had novels published in the accepted time frame must be considered in this year's list

This year's judging panel consists of Literary Editor Rosie Blau, the Royal Opera Houses' Creative Director Deborah Bull, author and Journalist Tom Sutcliffe, writer Frances Wilson and Professor of Creative Writing and Chairman Sir Andrew Motion.
The shortlist will be announced in September this year, with the winner of one of the world's most important literary awards and the £50,000 prize revealed in October.
