Lemony Snicket new series on the way

Little, Brown Books has announced that they will be publishing a new four-book series by Lemony Snicket, aka Daniel Handler, the author of the hugely-successful A Series of Unfortunate Events. Other than knowing that they will be extremely unfortunate, nothing is yet known about the new teen books as so far they have been shrouded in secrecy.

A Series of Unfortunate Events, which was later made into a movie, is a 13 book series which follows 3 wealthy children who are orphaned when their parents are killed in a fire. When they are sent to live with a distant relative, they realise that he is trying to get his hands on their fortune and he'll stop at nothing to get it.  


The first book in Snickets new series will be released in 2012.
