Is 'The Lovely Bones' book better than the film?
24 February 2010
A common critism levelled after the experience of a good book is that the film somehow fails to live up to the raised expectations. The Kite Runner was a perfect example, where the writing was high quality, but the film very low budget and missing the poignancy; leaving no sense of the depth of horror and distress experienced by the characters. With all the hype about the Lovely Bones movie, why don't those of you who have read the book and seen the screenplay send in a review? There are just a few days left to send in entries for the February book review competition, and this month's entries have been very slow to appear, so you could stand a very good chance of winning the fabulous prize of £100in Amazon gift vouchers. If you have seen the film and not had chance to read the book, why don't you purchase it here.
The Lovely Bones RRP is £7.99, but according to our price comparison service the cheapest prices it is available today are £2.98 from Amazon and £2.97 from the book depository.
