Waterstone's Prize Shortlist Announced

The spectacular shortlist has been announced for the Waterstone's Children's Book Prize and this year it seems novels that tackle difficult subjects for children are most prevalent. With tales of loss, parents splitting-up and disability, it seems that there has been a shift from the vampire/supernatural books that have crammed the shelves recently, to more true life, believable stories.


The Waterstone's Children's Book Prize is in its sixth year and will be held at the booksellers Piccadilly branch on 10th February.
