The Lost Symbol takes Christmas number one

Dan Brown's record-breaking thriller The Lost Symbol has topped the 2009 Christmas book charts.
The Lost Symbol, sequel to the hugely-successful The Da Vinci Code, follows Harvard symbologist Robert Langton as he races against time to decipher codes and forgotten histories connected to the Freemasons.
The Mystery-thriller faced competition from the Guinness World Records 2010, which took second place and Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer, which took third.
