The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is heading for the silver screen

Fans of Stieg Larsson's crime series, featuring Lisbeth Salander, will be happy to hear that his best-selling novels are going to be made into a Hollywood film franchise, starting with The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.


The Swedish writer's trilogy; The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest, all focus on an anti-social computer hacker who works alongside journalist Mikael Blomkvist to solve crimes.


Oscar-winning writer Steven Zaillian is rumoured to be adapting Larsson's books for the big screen and Doug Belgrad is set to produce .
