The Snowman is a classic Christmas tale and the book is every bit as good as the much loved film: Young James builds a snowman in the garden and wakes up one night to discover that it has come to life. James shows the snowman around his house and in return the snowman takes James on a magical journey. I read this book to my son when he was younger and have recently bought a new copy so that I might read it to my grandson (also called James!) in the run up to Christmas this year.
