The Fourth Dimension: Tchrs' Book

The aim of this series is to improve the student's ability to speak and write accurately, fluently and expressively. This new edition has an enlarged page size and additional paragraphs relating to new work in the coursebook and study book. The units in the coursebook focus on a particular theme or topic. Each unit contains a reading text with lead-in and follow-up activities, language study pages covering grammatical and functional work, vocabulary, stress and intonation, a dialogue recorded on cassette and a study section. Both Third and Fourth Dimension can be used as free-standing coursebooks or combined to take students up to a level roughly equivalent to the Cambridge First Certificate. The Fourth Dimension is intended for adult and young adult students who have been exposed to, but have not necessarily learnt, the "core" structures of English.
