Six Book

This book is based on the true story of six Yorkshire men in WW1. Five of the six are actually brothers. They are the Jackson boys. The sixth lad to join them is a best friend of one of them. His name is Albert Seal. In a ritualistic display of merging his blood with the blood of the youngest brother John, he becomes one of them. The link is then forged and they become six brothers at war. Their futures are set. Their country needs them. There's nothing special about them. They are just ordinary lads. Any one of them could be your brother, or mine. On the brink of embarkation, John falls hopelessly in love with a young girl called Alice. She becomes the one to keep his body and soul together against all odds. The story of the six is told by John, and begins in 1919.
