Following in the footsteps of his prolific goal scoring father Don, Brian Clark signed for Bristol City in the late 1950s and became a firm favourite with the Ashton Gate fans for his prowess in front of goal. Typically 'knocking in' over 20 goals a season, he established an attacking partnership with the legendary John Atyeo, and scored in the final game of 1964/65 to secure the Robins' promotion to Division 2.
