Forest of Feelings: Understanding and Exploring Emotions Book

Ben is called to the Forest of Feelings by Rusalka, it's guardian. His task is to save the dying forest by asking each woodland tribe to give him their piece of the Spectrum. Only by restoring it can Ben bring harmony back to the forest and its inhabitants. It is a quest that will teach Ben much about himself. Forest of Feelings is about helping children become emotionally healthy individuals. An emotionally healthy child will be a better learner, be more sociable and enjoy enhanced relationships. This book includes: an introduction to understanding and exploring emotions with children; a story of six chapters that deals with Ben's adventures in the Forest of Feelings, where he encounters situations that help him to explore the emotions of anger, sadness, fear, jealousy and happiness; teacher's notes, creative activities and a Circle Time script that engage with the emotion depicted in each chapter.
