'An Education' book talk and film showing at Keswick literature festival

Lynn Barber will appear tonight at Keswick, in Cumbria, Words by the Water literature festival, to discuss her story 'An Education' which was nominated for an Oscar this year, for best adapted screenplay.

An Education is the journalist Lynn Barber's autobiography which describes her early life and her ambitious plans to study at Oxford. Whilst on this path, Lynn falls in love with an older man, which puts her on a dangerous road of criminality and self destruction.

Lynn will discuss her memoir with an audience who will also get to see Nick Hornsby's screenplay, in the film adaptation, starring Emma Thompson and Oscar nominated Carey Mulligan.
