Emma Thompson is signing Nanny McPhee and the big bang book!

Next week Nanny McPhee will be signing books at an event in Waterstones, Piccadilly in London on March 6th 2010. Emma Thompson played the lead character for the film adaptation of the books Nurse Matilda books, written by Christianna Brand. The sequel has been written by Emma Thompson and she will again play the role of Nanny McPhee, and has rejected other roles to concentrate on writing the screenplay and the book to ensure availability, all in perfect time for the movie release at Easter. The trailer looks like an absolute hoot and is set to be a box office hit in the family entertainment genre. This wonderful story of magic and mirth is available in paperback and the book signing will be a chance in a million for a very special autographed copy of an extraordinary story. However places are limited so book quickly while you still have the opportunity. This is not Emma Thompson's first foray into screen writing. She also adapted Sense and Sensibility for the screen and has written other children's stories.
