As the bloody carnage of World War II grinds to a halt in 1945, Chiang Kai-shek, leader of the Chinese Nationalists, and Mao Tse-tung, chairman of the burgeoning Communist party, prepare for a full-scale civil war. A lone heroine, the beautiful and courageous Chen Jin-ling, pet-named Silk Tiger, rises up and attempts to bring peace to her country. Assisting her is Captain James Lansing, winner of the Distinguished Service Cross, whose love for Silk Tiger is all-consuming.
