 | I really did enjoy reading this book, I am a big fan of Janet Street Porter but even those who aren't so keen on her should give this book a go too.
It covers Janet's impressive walk of 350 miles from Edinburgh Observatory to Greenwich Observatory in a straight line and there are large sections of it which will had me howling with laughter and making me want to read on. I paticularly enjoyed the stories of the people she met through her travels including some very famous people. It also makes for fasnating reading as Janet takes you through different areas and places and documents well as to what she discovered. In all, this is a fantastic companion book to her great TV series from the 90s.
