The Break-up Survival Kit: Emotional Rescue for the Newly Single |
|
 | I've spent the last six months at the bottom of a black hole after my divorce. I found myself wishing my ex would drop dead I felt so bad. Then someone recommended Dr. Spurr's book and I could see how different things could be for me. The chapter on smoke signals really struck home as I was sending out all these fake messages about feeling great when inside I was miserable. The next chapter on making changes in your life was positively uplifting. I saw how change can be good and I've started using the many tricks to turn my life around. The great thing about this book is how the very positive advice is not stodgy or too worthy but punctuated with humour and Dr. Spurr's own divorce experiences. A real gem for information about surviving your break-up. Thanks for this. read more.
