Bon Courage!: A French Renovation in Rural Limousin

 
This is a very well written book filled with gentle subtle humour that will make you chuckle. It's not meant to be laugh out loud and embarrass your self as a result if reading in public transport. I found it a compelling and well written yarn produced by someone with an excellent sense of humour and a keen eye for observing folk. The best line for me was Big John the builder greeting some one with 'Bon Jewer matey...' - just great. I also enjoyed the smattering of technical stuff in it too ... read more.
