I really enjoyed this book. The last one Fade Away was the better written and certainly deserved the award. I dont agree with the reviewer who criticised the 80s humour - I enjoyed the time-specific references which I thought added to the overall effect - but maybe that is because I understood all the references. The stories are a bit far-fetched in places but for me that didnt detract from my enjoyment. The story is pretty much the same in the first two books and I guessed the ending in these two. As they had been written as self-standing books quite a bit of repetition of contextual information that got irritating. Each story was a good read but the reason I gave it only 4 stars as I am not sure it works as a compendium. They would be better read with a bit of a break in between. Will certainly read more books by Harlan Coben. read more.
