Eragon (Inheritance Cycle) book cover
A fabulous book. As someone who virtually eats books and knows a little something about what merits 'good writing' i have no qualms in telling you all that this book is flawless. The narrative is fluid and the the wording does not get in the way of the story as we so often see in fantasy books, the action the places the scenes are described perfectly; not over-written, not overly described but just enough. The character development between Eragon and Saphira is the best I've read in a long while. Paolini is ridiculously talented. I'll keep this review short, it is enough to simply say this book is faultless and ranks right up there as one of my three favourite books i've ever read. read more.
