Mental Health: From Policy to Practice |
|
 | The focus of this book is to look at the policies currently in place for mental health and how these would work in practice. The book highlights the current policies and how these have been adapted to work in todays of the mental health system. They look at each policy breaking it down looking at the pros and cons of each and what else needs to be done for future improvement. The book not only covers the actual framework for mental health services but also how it affects particular groups of people for example women.
Although the book is very good in explaining all of the current policies I would say that policies can change and the book soon may be come out dated as they may not be relevant. read more.
