 | another one of the excellent harry erskine books, this book see's our hero coming face to face with an all powerful and very evil genie (the djinn of the title) who promises to inflict a thousand deaths on any one who opposes it!. harry has to find a way to fight and eventually beat the djinn before it wreaks havoc to the world. done in the classic style of the erskine books i.e a narrative from the first person perspective, if you like the manitou this book will not disapoint, all the funny bits and abject horror without the need to resort to grossness this is an brilliant book well worth keeping to read again and again read more.
