 | Stephen King is one of the great story-tellers of the twentieth century, but he has always had difficulties with endings (think of the farce of the Stand, or the pathetic conclusion of It). It was with some trepidation, therefore, that I approached this final volume of the series. Before even starting it I thought I just hope he doesn't....But that was exactly what he did. The ending is the most predictacle and the weakest one imaginable. Please, if you have enjoyed the first six novels, don't read this one. It will just leave a bad taste in your mouth, and the feeling you have been wasting your time. read more.
