 | As an owner of a pack of dogs (5) I've tried every training method going, and I can confirm that using a sensible selection of most methods works!! I totally agree with alot of Cesars ideas and am extreamly against some of his other thoughts. I know that I have to have control of my dogs and since having training with a local behaviourist who believes, as Cesar does, in working with the pack, as a pack it's changed the way my dogs and I work together.
Use your common sense, don't follow anyone's advise blindly. If clicker training works for your dog, then use it but if it doesn't keep trying other methods. Alright you might not like negative reinforcement but if it's the difference betweening owning a untrained pack of dogs (a potentally extreamly dangerous situation) and a happy, safe pack of dogs...well it's a no-brainer to me. read more.
