 | I had picked up this book a couple of times in our local library and did not take it each time.
But the third time I did and was SO engrossed in it, that I literally was never without it; I took it everywhere and read any time I could. The story is so well constructed, so engrossing , the characters SO well developed that you find yourself thinking (now), "I wonder how Alice or Laure or Rooke are??"
I am also so impressed with Rosie Thomas for going out to the Antarctic to thoroughly research her story.
I had never read any of her books before; now, I cannot wait to read more (and luckily there ARE more) read more.
