 | I love this game, its really simple but great to play, so you would think it doesn't really need a guide, but when it looks as good as this you might reconsider. There are some wonderful pictures in this guide, and every page is a pleasure to look at, but it is very functional as well giving clear and helpfull instructions along the way. It reccomends when to upgrade swords and what items to buy at the right time, helps you to locate weaknesses in enemies and stops you entering areas far higher than your current level, usually leading to certain death! RPG's in general are often very long winded affairs to complete and although it is understandable that you don't want plotlines being revealed, it can be nice to have a guide to consult along the way, and this won't dissapoint at all, if only if it serves to immerse you in the Ys world even further. read more.
