I loved this book, i think Alexander McCall Smith is at his best describing petite-bourgeois Edinburgh folk; I've lived there, met and enjoyed these people and places - how did he know! Not to be missed, it seems a lightweight read but can be absorbed at a deeper level. would make a good gift book. read more.
