 | Wow what a find. This book had me glued to the pages. I thoroughly enjoyed the story from the romance, the family bonds, the mafia, the crime etc. It was all put together beautifully and extremely well written.
I disagree with the reviewer who only gave it one star for as he felt the women were weak as maybe this was the way it was meant to be. These women had no idea what their husbands were up to and for them to take over and control it was some task.
I had read the back cover but hadn't really taken in the story so it didn't really bother me that you knew beforehand all the males were wiped out (although I am one for liking to sneak a look at the back page!)
All through this book I was willing and waiting for Sophia to find out who her first born was!!
I am now on a spurge of reading all Lynda La Plante's books and can highly recommend her as an author. read more.
